Friday Update – February 10th, 2023
Unfortunately, this is going to be a short update. I'm finally getting over this sinus infection, which has been completely sapping the energy out of me. Trying to sleep with a CPAP machine while gagging on sinus grossness basically means I barely slept for the past...
Friday Update – February 3rd, 2023
Greetings, Mythies! Remember how I was so exhausted? I got my weekend of rest and then... caught a nasty head cold. Thankfully it was just a head cold (not COVID!), but it was giving me a bit of hell. Writing while on cold medicine is difficult at best, and while I'm...
Ask the Dev! (Questions Open!)
Alright, everyone! There were actually a few people asking about when this segment was going to come back, so here it is: Ask the Dev questions are now open. For those of you who are new to this, here's how it works: Instead of posing a question to one of the Mythos...
Friday Update – January 27th, 2023
I am... so tired. So, to recap: Chapter 3's final version released in November. Then we had the holidays (I've gone over how stressful that is for me), then MAGFest, then inventory, and then Morgana's birthday. The transition between years is always an insanely busy...
Friday Update – January 20th, 2023
Oh god oh fuck oh shit sorry! This one is going to have to be really quick. My week was super stressful and very busy and I have inventory at work on Friday. Thus I'm just throwing this up hurriedly on Thursday night. Yikes. I have one or more beta readers chosen and...
Friday Update – January 13th, 2023
Happy Friday the 13th! I survived MAGFest. Barely. Yes, we're going back next year... but we'll definitely be getting a hotel room. Driving an hour to get home after spending a day partying at a convention is rough for my old ass. The first scene of Chapter Four is...
Friday Update – January 6th, 2022
Alright, so I'm at a Convention until Sunday so I can't really ramble on at length about much. This won't be a very detailed update, but next week will have all the details! I have the Chapter Four and Five outlines both done! I still haven't come up with anything for...
Friday Update – December 30th, 2022
So December turned out to be even more stressful than I'd thought! Yay! More on that later, though. Let's start with Mythos progress. You may notice something really weird about the progress checklist, now; Chapter Five stuff is on there. Am I skipping a Chapter? No,...
A Mythos Carol – Stave Five
Desmond landed with a thud, his screams of terror cut short as the wind was knocked from him. The ground beneath him felt softer than he’d expected. There were also pillows upon it. Confused, Desmond’s hand felt around his surroundings. He couldn’t find the edges of...
Friday Update – December 23rd, 2022
Well, it's almost Christmas! That means my stressful time has almost passed (just in time for the stress of going to a convention right after New Year's...) My stomach is still acting up. I should probably be somewhat concerned, but who knows how much of this is...
