So… while I got a lot of work done this week, I don’t really have that much to say. I’m finishing up writing one scene this evening, finished coding one earlier this week, and I should have the last two scenes written by the end of next week.
I was super sick on Monday, and feeling a bit of lingering from that, but it didn’t really hamper my workflow too much – that’s why I did some coding (it’s less brain-intensive to me than writing).
I’ve also had a continuation of trouble sleeping! I’ve been having trouble staying asleep, and I’m not sure if it’s my brain waking me up just expecting crap to be wrong or not. Like I’d get up early because the cat is meowing (we’re feeding him less because of his diabetes, but he doesn’t like that decision). He’s sorta settled down as far as loudly demanding food, but then I just started waking up an hour or two before my alarm for no discernible reason. I tried taking trazodone (prescribed, I just rarely use it) and that didn’t help. Last night I tried playing one of those 8-hour-long sleep sound things on Spotify, but something happened to make it skip to the next track and I got jolted awake by a sudden female voice loudly reminding me that I’m listening to relaxing sleep sounds. Yeah, if you’re gonna make a playlist of sleep sounds, maybe don’t have sudden vocal interruptions be part of that!!!
Anyway, really happy that it feels like the end of Chapter Four is within sight. I’m gonna try to get some actual sleep this weekend, since every weekend since the anniversary trip has had us going out both days. I’m so exhausted.
