Hello, Mythies! Happy 4/20 to those who celebrate (I don’t, but I don’t begrudge anybody that does)!
I’m going to just start calling these “Weekly Updates” instead of “Friday Updates” because I can’t always get them out on Fridays. They’re still almost always going to be on Friday, and I’ll warn you if I have to make them later (that’s only happened once!), but I want all the images to have the same text on them. OCD? Possibly.
I rendered my ass off this week because I just had to get this freaking scene done so I could feel like I accomplished something. This scene was actually more complicated than the Gala. I couldn’t get away with sticking billboards in the background and throwing depth of field on everything, and it’s also all the characters in a single room interacting at once – so yay, complicated from both a Daz and a writing standpoint.
But… it’s done!!! Every other scene in Chapter Four is way, way easier so it’s all downhill from here.
You may ask why I didn’t save this scene for last.
… that’s a good question!

Anyway, with me cutting Chapter Four down to a single in-game day instead of two, look at how close to complete the checklist is now! I’m very optimistic about getting this update out for y’all to play.
Tomorrow Morgana and I are taking a little vacation together for our tenth anniversary! We’re taking a train down to DC and spending the weekend there, going to museums and nice restaurants and stuff. Yes, DC is absolutely within driving distance, but anybody who’s driven in DC will understand why we’re not fucking doing that. We also got first class train tickets, because we wanna be bougie for this (and they’re also kinda cheap).
