Happy Black Friday, everyone!
For those of you who celebrated, I hope you had a gluttonous feast yesterday! For those who didn’t celebrate, maybe you had a feast anyway. I don’t know your life.
There’s two things I wanna talk about today, and the first is “Ask the Cast”.
I’m not sure if it’s because of the holiday, or not enough people played Chapter Three, or maybe not many people are as curious this time around, but I… don’t have a whole lot of questions for “Ask the Cast” to be able to go up on Tuesday as planned, unless I get a shitload of questions over the weekend. If I do, that’s great! If not, I’m going to have to either cancel the segment until later or just keep the question period open until I get enough. We’ll see what happens.
The other thing to talk about is… CHAPTER FOUR!
What? No, it’s not ready yet, don’t be weird.
I was a little concerned that I’d have to make the chapter massive so that you had a chance to gather every bit of information possible on all the suspects so you could make a properly informed decision. I for some reason thought each suspect would need their own scene for that… but I’ve figured out how to divide the information into scenes in a way that it comes down to the questions you ask.
I’m considering scrapping Investigation Mode for Chapter Four, but it’d be weird to have it there for Chapter Three and then gone again. I’ll have to think about how to handle that.
The outline for Chapter Four isn’t even done enough to post the scene progress yet, so I’ll just leave it at this for now.
Sunday is the first part of “A Mythos Carol”, and Tuesday is either “Ask the Cast” or me posting what I’m gonna do about the lack of questions.
