So that was a nice week off, but now I’m back in action!
Not… really a whole lot of excitement to report. I’m just in the rendering phase, with renders on this one particular scene going slower because of the complexity of the setting. This is why I saved these two scenes for last (“Doing the Dailies” and “We Will Rock You”) – one has a complicated setting, the other just has a lot of characters. This chapter is still shaping up to be the fastest I’ve made (even considering it’s shorter than the others).
In my time away, I managed to complete a total run of Baldur’s Gate 3, which was cool. I’m definitely going to do another, but I may try to get Persona 5 or Danganronpa V3 out of the way first. I got Rain Code for my birthday, so that’s another thing I gotta get around to playing.
Morgana’s car died Sunday night, which immediately sent me into “financial panic” mode. She seems to have really bad luck with cars, doesn’t she? Thankfully, it just had to get a new battery (the one she had came with the car and was already four years old), and it works fine – it even fixed the issue she had with her broken radio! Sadly, it didn’t fix the issue of her drivers-side window not working, so that’s something we’ll have to fix. I can’t imagine that’d be too expensive or worrisome, though.
I probably jinxed myself by saying that.
