Here we are — the end of 2021. 

Remember how we all thought 2020 was as bad as it could get? Oh, how young and naive we were.

2021 did have me finally put out my creation to the world, sharing my stories with you all, and it seems like there’s a few of you out there who enjoy it! That makes me very happy and thankful that there are people in the world that want to know about this crazy shit that comes out of my brain.

Unfortunately, 2021 also brought it’s share of hardships. The car issues, the pet health issues, a mouse that wanted to be our roommate, and of course the ever-looming threat of a plague that is apparently just never, ever going away. 

And with that last bit is the worst news of all, because 2021 may be using its last day to hit us with the worst thing of all. Morgana and I have been pretty sick this week. Today I woke up feeling much better. Morgana, however… not so much. She’s now waiting for a COVID test, and she’s got quite a wait ahead of her. If she does, in fact, have COVID, she’s going to be isolating. Her new job is fantastic, but it’s just that: new. Which means she doesn’t have paid sick leave yet. This could become a very financially strained time. 

It’s not all gloomy news, though! It looks like LewdPixels has put Mythos on it’s “21 Great Adult Games of 2021” list! Go check that out, for sure — Tara’s picture is in the first 2. 🙂 

Not doing the individual update breakdown this week, because between the cold meds and my fuzzy senses from sickness, I was doing very… scattered work. Like setting up an environment for a scene, then making an outfit that a character wears in a different scene, etc. My mind is all over the place.

The next post you’ll see from me will be the third part of “Nelson’s Sick Day”. Third and final, right? Hmm…

So here’s hoping that 2022 doesn’t start with Morgana (or myself) infected with COVID! 😀  Thank you all for sticking with me through this rough time.
