I was back on my groove thing this week! Also had a lot of time alone to focus. Let’s talk about it!

Game Update

I got done a whole scene’s worth of renders this week, including a single render that consists of 15 separate renders composited together. Admittedly, that single render still isn’t done, but I got the hard part out of the way. All of this for a single gag. I hope it’s worth it…

I took the critiques into consideration on the Steam page, and so I spent six hours working on updating the Steam page. You wouldn’t know it by looking at it, though — basically, I did new renders in order to make new capsules and headers. I also added two NSFW renders to the screenshots. If there’s any more suggestions, please pass them along! I’m always the worst at marketing myself, and picking screenshots is difficult because I can’t objectively decide which of my renders are “good”.

Personal Update

Monday was my battery of medical stuff; bloodwork, my pre-colonoscopy gastro doctor appointment, and then a CT scan of my chest to see if I have cholesterol buildup. I haven’t heard anything back on the scan yet, but the bloodwork shows my A1C is back to “pre-diabetic” levels! It’s probably mostly the Mounjaro doing the heavy lifting on that, but it makes me happy to see.

I was alone from Thursday until just earlier this afternoon, because Morgana went to the Mothman Festival. While she was gone, I was working hard on Mythos, and also learning to crochet! Why crochet? Because I thought it’d be cute to make Morgana a little penguin to come home to. Sadly, I didn’t get to finish the penguin, but she still thinks it’s very cute and is happy I’m doing it for her. So far, it’s just a blue ball with eyes.

Hey, Nine! Whatcha playin’?

Just throwing out a little note every now and then to let y’all know what game (or games) I’m playing so I can decompress from working basically two jobs. Right now I’m on a brief hiatus from FFXIV, so I’ve been pretty wrapped up in Coral Island. I’ve gotten quite into “cozy games” lately, and this one is pretty cute. 

I do plan to go back to FFXIV, as well as Enshrouded (which still has the best building system I’ve seen out of any game!), but for now it’s all about farming and mermaids! I’m very bummed that Tales of the Shire‘s release got delayed.
