Greetings, and happy Ides of March, I guess!
Is that something you wish people “happy” on? Probably not. Whatever.
Not a whole lot to report, this week! I finished writing two more scenes, and spent a lot of time struggling with trying to get this new forms plugin to work so I can put out the second survey. It’s still not working, so I’ll probably just have to send out the survey later. That means that I’ll probably be opening up “Ask the Dev” on Monday! Hopefully, you all have some questions ready, and don’t procrastinate and miss the cutoff. You know who you are!
Last night I took something that was supposed to “boost creativity”, but instead it just kinda made me unfocused and giggly, so… yeah. Good for relaxation, but awful for actually writing. I suppose it was an experiment worth trying, at any rate. I finished Midnight Suns on Monday, and I am now sad that we’ll probably not get a sequel because it didn’t do well. I’m hoping that with the huge success of Baldur’s Gate 3 we’ll at least be seeing more turn-based type RPGs coming, so that I won’t have to keep avoiding these “action RPGs” (which aren’t actually RPGs, I don’t care what Hanzo says).
Tonight we may be going to see a stage production of Steel Magnolias, but Morgana isn’t feeling well right now so that may not be happening. I’ll let y’all know how that goes in the next update.
Remember: Ask the Dev is coming soon, so get your questions in as soon as I open it up!
