The alpha testing is underway, and I think I may be able to get the beta build out to the external testers tomorrow morning (or tonight if my upload speed cooperates). I had an issue where for some reason my developer console options weren’t working for Ren’Py but I think I got that sorted out. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it meant I basically had to exit and restart the game whenever I changed anything, so it really slowed me down. I still haven’t finished the sex scene, but that’ll come easily now that (I hope) I’m past my dark days and bad moods.
This week has also been a week of adjustment for me. As some of you may have known, Morgana was working overnight at a hotel; she would work from 11 PM to 7 AM, meaning that I was sleeping while she was at work, and she was sleeping while I was at work. As such, we hadn’t been sleeping in the same bed. However, she was given a job offer that was simply too good to pass up. Not only because of higher pay, but a set daytime schedule and no longer having to work with the public. This means, however, that both of us have to get acclimated to sleeping in the same bed every night again.
There’s been a lot of knees, elbows, and a cat confused about where he’s supposed to go with all these humans in his bed.
And farts. So many farts. Not saying who’s guilty of the farts, but it’s not the cat. Or me.
Anyway — here’s hoping that the beta testers don’t discover anything disastrous and I can get Chapter Five into your sticky little hands soon!
