This update is a day earlier than usual and with no render because of some really nasty personal life stuff I’ll get into in a bit. For the game updates, I’ve only got the sex scene left to render and then (after I work out how the other achievements are going to work), Chapter Five gets sent off to the beta testers.
So what’s wrong?
We got a text last night that a good friend of ours was in the ICU with an infection and things “weren’t looking good.” We naturally went down there last night to support her and her husband. Today we once again spent the evening at the hospital with the family and a few close friends, but her husband has officially put her under “do not resuscitate” — basically, we have said our goodbyes. I’ve already taken off work tomorrow, and as soon as she passes I know I’m going to be in a pretty wrecked state, so I wanted to get this update out of the way for you all.

Side note: My digestive ailments seem to have cleared up — for now, at least. That seems to be a recurring thing for me.
