Another Friday, another update. Surely nothing surprising in this one.
Actually, there is; I rendered three scenes this week, and that’s even with me taking the entire weekend off because I felt sick. Chapter Five is much less render-heavy than Chapter Four, but I still have no idea how I’m working this fast on it. I have to temper expectations a bit, though — Chapter Six (the finale) is going to be significantly larger than any of the other chapters so far (there’s fifteen endings, after all!), so that one will take a while. But after I’m done rendering the last two scenes then doing the sex scene, we’re already headed into the Chapter Five beta. That’s just… insanely fast.
But on the side of “things not getting done,” I want to let everyone know that there will be no weekly update next week. I’ve taken some time off of work for my birthday (which always happily coincides with the US Labour Day), and I’m going to force myself to actually relax fully. Even if I were to drop a weekly update next Friday, it would say nothing more than “I aged a year.” So the next weekly update will be September 8th. Nobody panic and worry about me for not posting next week! I’ll be okay!
