Been a while since you’ve seen that title, eh? Well, now that the holidays are over (MAGFest and Morgana’s birthday both count as holidays), it’s time for me to really get to work on Book Two. 

So is the first chapter ready, yet?

No. 

The outline for all of Book Two is, however! I was pondering making a flashy kinda video like how Stranger Things would give the names of their episodes out before the season, but I’m not sure if that’s the best use of my time. I’m already trying to not make all new renders for the weekly updates because that also took a big chunk of my time. I still may do it, though, just to get myself familiarized with After Effects again.

As it stands right now, here’s what we have:

Mythos, Book Two: Legendary Lore

– Chapter One: Symptom of the Universe

– Chapter Two: Thunderstruck

– Chapter Three: Run to the Hills

– Chapter Four: Living After Midnight

– Chapter Five: Eruption

– Epilogue: One Day More

Let’s see if y’all can figure out anything from the naming of the chapters. Heh heh heh…

As (I think) I’ve said before, Chapter One will be released for free to everyone and put on Steam as the “Demo”, and then I’ll be releasing chapter-by-chapter just as I did for Book One. Depending on Steam’s stance about adult games in early access (still a murky subject, for some reason) I may have to release it as a non-adult visual novel with a free “Adult DLC” for the people who wanna see sexy things. 

So that’s really it for this update. I know it’s not a whole lot, but we’re still in such early stages of planning that there’s not gonna be much exciting news to share. We’re currently buried under a foot of snow, so… that’s fun.

Also, our older cat (Gulliver) seems to be sick. Trying not to worry too much, but he’s 15 years old so… ugh. I don’t want to think about it.
