Hey, all you Mythies out there! I can’t wait for this month to be over because I always spell it wrong like three times before I just click the red squiggly and let it auto-correct.

For those who celebrated, I hope you had a happy Valentine’s Day! For those who didn’t, I hope you… um… had… some good pizza, maybe?

This week was super productive. I wrote four scenes this week! I’ve practically finished writing about half of the final chapter with this. I also did the very “Nine Thing” of changing up how some of the scenes were outlined because, as I was writing the dialogue, the characters voice in my head decided to go in a different direction than what I’d planned. For the most part, I’d say these scenes are better for it.

I’m usually speaking the voice lines aloud as I write them, which probably helps. This is also why I don’t write in public. I’d get weird looks, especially if I were bouncing back and forth between Tara and Monica’s accents.

… okay, now I kinda wanna try doing this in public. Hmm.

I plan on putting up another survey soon! I got some great insights from the last one I put out, and this one will build on that while also narrowing things down (like asking for your one favourite character instead of just which ones you liked).

This week there was some kind of sports thing on Sunday, so Morgana and I stayed in to make sure we didn’t have to deal with any of that. We had a Valentine’s Day dinner at the restaurant where we had our first date, and then I surprised her with some chocolates and a plushie of the dumbest-looking shark I’ve ever seen. She absolutely loved it. She was cackling as she hugged it. It’s been named “The Major-General” (FFXIV fishers may know why).

She also surprised me with a book of stories that could become an inspiration for future Mythos games, as well as the D&D 5th Edition Deck of Many Things. It’s fancy! The cards all have very shiny gold edges. We also went to Costco, but… that’s not really a cute couple thing. It was just us buying large quantities of things we needed, as well as me making super awesome jokes that Morgana definitely laughed at and didn’t find cheesy at all.

That’s all for this week… I mean, I did a lot, so I’d hope so!
