So we’re still in the early development stages of Chapter Five. That means —
… wait, it’s all completely written, already?
And mostly coded?
And the first scene is already fully rendered?
Yes! As any long-time follower of Mythos knows, this point in development is usually a couple of months worth of work. Why am I already this far in? I have no idea! Something has me driven to work tirelessly on this chapter, so it’s getting done stupidly fast. It could be a combination of things, like how we’re near the end of the first game, Zoloft maybe helping me focus, the groundwork for this part having already been done, or just that the code isn’t very complicated for this last stretch.
No matter the reason, it looks like Chapter Five will be coming much more quickly than Chapter Four did!
As such, I have a somewhat sad announcement: “Ask the Cast” and “Ask the Dev” will be put off until after the release of Chapter Five. Being as Chapter Four and Chapter Five were going to be a single chapter at first, this isn’t really a major change. Chapter Four didn’t have all the character interactions of a normal chapter, so after Chapter Five you’ll have some time spent with Rain, Rin, and Rami to get some more questions brewing in your heads.
