Alright, it’s probably confusing enough that I’m doing this update on a Friday. Hey, just like the old days, right?

Let’s get the game stuff out of the way first: Steam still hasn’t approved Mythos, Book One for launch. This time it was because the “Tales from Mythos” weren’t unlocked. That would just require you playing through the whole game, and I don’t know how to make a save file that would unlock it (because it’s tied to persistent files and not individual saves). So to save time (hopefully), I just sent them all the Tales in a text file, and pointed out that they could compare that file to the game file the Tales are stored in to ensure I wasn’t trying to hide anything.

So hopefully that’s sufficient.

Time for Nine’s personal life! Let’s start with why I’m posting this on a Friday instead of my typical Sunday (or sometimes Saturday): I’m going away for the weekend! I’m not going far away, mind you; Morgana and I got a hotel suite with another couple so we could all watch Wrestlemania together. Neither our condo nor their apartment is in any state to receive guests right now, and so we used one of our hotel discounts to basically get the dorkiest party suite possible. When we’re not watching wrestling, we’re going to be doing board games and video games and such. Maybe an RPG one-shot, if we feel up to it.

Side note: I’m going to be so mad if Charlotte Flair beats Tiffany Stratton. I’m expecting it, but it’s total bullshit and I hate it.

Then on Monday, Morgana and I are going to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary. Technically our anniversary is on Tuesday, but it’s easier to make it a three-day weekend of revelry. My stomach has been giving me problems, but hopefully they’re clear by then. If so, we’re going to “re-enact” our first anniversary date: Fogo de Chao, then the aquarium

For those who were curious about how things went with my mother: She was released from the hospital on Monday. So far, I believe she’s been getting better, but I have no idea if she’s gone back to drinking or not. I’m giving my parents a few days to settle in before I reach out to my stepfather to see how she’s doing on that front. I hope that her time in the hospital forced her sobriety enough to allow them to have a clear conversation about it. However, realistically, I think we’re going to have to do an intervention of some sort.

So that’s all I got for this week! If fate smiles upon me, the next you hear from me will be a Steam release date!

Keep the legends alive!
