It’s November, and holy hell did the weather around here just decide “fuck autumn, we’re going straight into winter” on the 1st. Went straight from t-shirts to leather coats and hoodies!

I kinda regret posting the percentages every week now, because it’s just like when you weigh yourself daily while on a diet — it looks like the progress is super slow and it gets discouraging. Granted, I’ve never had anybody gripe at me about how fast I work (I have a full-time job and real life commitments, after all), but it still makes me feel bad.  

Especially when things like what happened this week happen! After reflecting on a scene I’d finished writing, I thought about a much better way to handle things (and thus affecting the rest of the whole chapter!). This meant dropping the scene “Doctor’s Orders” and replacing it with “A Little Help from my Friends”. I was on a writing streak, but because of that edit it looks like I don’t have a whole lot to show for it. 🙁 

There’s also a bunch of real-world stuff going on that’s taking me out of the house more than I’d like — both because I wanna work on Mythos and because I wanna be antisocial. Going out to see Eternals tonight (actually excited about that), then we’re going to be helping our friends do some vending thing at a convention (which means waking up at 7 AM on a bloody Saturday), next week is a birthday party, the week after that is when Endwalker releases. I wish I could quit my job so I’d have more time to work on the game!

Sorry, this week’s update seems more downer than usual — but for the sake of transparency (and thus why I do weekly updates) I thought you all should know every factor involved in the game’s progress and delays.
