Greetings, everyone! 

There’s something special about looking back on work you’ve already done. On one hand you may listen to a bit of music you’ve made and think “shit, this actually kinda sucks” and redo the whole track (which I did with “Codito Ergo Sum”). On the other hand, you may realize “shit, this piece of furniture is floating” and have to re-render an entire scene (which I had to do with “Fancy”). 

Both hands kinda suck, in this instance.

But in happier news, I managed to not only completely redo one track, but I finished another (“The Dark Depths of Despair in my Blackened Soul (I’m Dead)”)… and also realized I needed a few more (“Herja’s Elegy” and some as-of-yet untitled tracks). I didn’t realize how many situations my existing songs would not work for). 

With how slow progress is going, I’m thinking of putting the animated intro (made in After Effects) on hold until Chapter Four. Let me know what y’all think on this – would it be worth waiting a bit longer to have a glow-up like that, or do you have a deep hunger for more Mythos immediately?

Speaking of Mythos (since that’s what this entire site is for), I’ve mentioned many times that Mythos was based on a novel I wrote ages ago that I had no confidence in getting published. Now that at least a few people out there seem to be enjoying the story, I had a thought: Would anybody be interested in me actually publishing the (non-porny) novels? It wouldn’t be in the same universe, but it would have the same setting elements and many of the same characters. I’d probably just self-publish on Amazon and sell the books for like $3 or something, but it’d be cool to actually like… be an author, which is what I’d always wanted. I’d love to hear feedback on this!
