Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelcome to March, Mythies! I’m so glad February is over so I don’t have to keep correcting my spelling of it. I’d never spell “March” wrong!

There are only a handful of scenes left to write for the chapter before I get into the coding (which I’ve been kinda half-doing as I write the scenes) and the rendering. The renders will probably take the bulk of the time, because there’s some whacky effects in some of the scenes that I’ve never done before. If it turns out I can’t pull it off, I may need to re-write things to be a little less “flashy”.

This month I’m going to open up “Ask the Dev!” While this will be the last time I do this before finishing Book One, I don’t wanna call this “the final” like I did with “Ask the Cast”. The dev for Book Two is still gonna be me. The cast for Book Two… may not be entirely the same. For what’s probably obvious reasons. I’m also going to put out another poll, with this one being more pointedly focused on the direction we’re going to take in Book Two.

Some of you in the AVN community (and everyone on my Discord) may have heard about the kerfuffle going on with Patreon suspending creator accounts for content in people’s Discords. This caused a panic, which lead to a lot of creators deleting their NSFW Discord channels. I, on the other hand, simply severed the link between Patreon and Discord — I’d rather sacrifice that bit of convenience than deprive my server-dwellers of their porn. Since then, it’s been more clearly defined as to what can/can’t be done, so I’ll soon be re-establishing the connection between Patreon and my Discord. I still encourage people who want to support me to move to SubscribeStar, since they are far more permissive with what they allow creators to do. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with Patreon’s anachronistic views on naughtiness.

Last weekend was the Twin Temple concert, which was a lot of fun. Thankfully it didn’t run too late, because it was Sunday and I’m too old to party late and work the next day (not that I even did that when I was younger, honestly). This week I was writing away during the day, but also delving into obsessively playing Midnight Suns at night. This resulted in me staying up later than usual and being sleepy the next morning… so basically, a video game tired me out more than a concert did.

Speaking of tired out, Morgana and I are increasing our gym times — for me, to help fight my diabetes. In her case, she just wants to look “hotter”; despite me reassuring her she’s plenty hot. She’s also jumped immediately into Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which means we’re both playing our own single-player games next to each other. It’s like when we were both obsessed with Baldur’s Gate 3! Incidentally, we’ve also been picking up harder into Disney’s Lorcana card game, which is fun! A lot of the mechanics are quite similar to Magic: the Gathering, but the strategy is far, far different.

I think I’ve rambled enough! Thanks for sticking around, and keep the legends alive!
