Game Update

All the renders are done!

Other than the Achievements, that is… but yes. Every scene is now fully rendered, unless I have to fix any in the beta test. I called in sick to work on Friday, and I spent about 18 hours just doing render after render. Then I did another 12 hours on Saturday. Then I did about 8 hours today. But it’s fucking done.

Book Two is going to be far less complex, for sure! It may be bigger in scale, but it’s not gonna have fifteen different endings and a final that has every character in the same place. And definitely not a car chase.

All I have to do is the achievement renders, and then finalize the code so that the proper images are all referenced at the proper time in the script. Then it’s beta time. With luck, I will be starting that beta test by this weekend.

The final beta. I’m so close! I know so many games get abandoned, but I am absolutely refusing to let Mythos be amongst them! 

Personal Update

Um. Yeah, I kinda did nothing but renders all week. I mean… we went out to a ramen place for dinner one night. Also, with Raw moving to Netflix it was a much better streaming experience than using Sling to our Chromecast, which disconnects every 15 minutes or so. It’s unfortunate that SmackDown isn’t on Netflix, unless you’re outside of the US. It’s also unfortunate that VPNs don’t exist, isn’t it?
